Turning a desk-led office into a collaborative hub

A Destination for Collaboration

Dementia UK needed to adapt their London office to support hybrid working, a growing team and a more inclusive way of working.

The existing space was desk-focused and outdated, lacking the storage, technology and accessibility required post-COVID. The charity wanted the office to become a destination that reflected its values and supported collaboration.

Concept to Completion

TSP acted as project lead, overseeing the refurbishment from concept to completion and coordinating delivery with fit-out partner, Constructive Space.

The project introduced improved storage, upgraded hybrid-ready technology and a range of collaboration spaces and acoustic pods.

Accessibility was embedded throughout, including a new accessible bathroom and a DDA-compliant kitchen.

Built for Purpose

The refreshed office is now a vibrant, welcoming, and inclusive hub that brings people together.

Staff feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with better organisation, improved ways of working and a renewed sense of pride in the space.

The result is a future-focused workplace that supports Dementia UK’s people and their mission.

“The refurbished office has made a real difference to how our teams work together. It’s an inclusive, flexible space that supports collaboration and reflects our values as an organisation. It has created a workplace our people enjoy coming back to and feel proud to be part of.”
