TSP, the office-focused property manager founded by Zac Goodman, has expanded nationally and by sector with its latest deal.
The firm has acquired KSA Property Consultants, an asset and property management firm specialising in building surveying as well as the retail and industrial sectors.
The KSA team, led by Matt Stephenson, will join TSP, with Stephenson becoming a shareholder in the firm.
The deal adds building surveying and project management capabilities to TSP’s Core to Floor® offering, as well as extending the enlarged firm’s geographic reach across the UK with fresh retail and industrial expertise.
“In KSA, and particularly in Matt, we have found a business and a leader who share our values, our mission and our conviction that the UK market needs a more modern, integrated real estate management platform,” Goodman said.
“In Matt, I have found an outstanding partner – a deeply entrepreneurial leader who shares my ambition to build TSP into a truly national business that attracts the best talent and the most prestigious mandates in the UK.”
He added: “On 9 February I will mark my 17th anniversary as CEO of TSP, and I genuinely feel like a 17-year-old who has just been handed the keys to the car. We are at the start of an exciting road trip, and I look forward to TSP becoming one of the leading national real estate brands in the UK.”
Stephenson said: “Joining forces with TSP and Zac feels like the perfect alignment. We share the same vision for what a modern property platform should look like: integrated, client centric and built on strong fundamentals with real innovation at its heart.
“By combining with TSP, we’re creating something much greater than the sum of our parts. I’m incredibly excited to bring our entire team into TSP and to play a key role in driving the next phase of national expansion. Together, we’re building a leading UK-wide real estate brand that attracts top talent and delivers exceptional outcomes for clients across the country.”
Founded in 2009, TSP manages over 3m sq ft of real estate with a team of almost 50. Its clients include the British Museum, Quadrant Estates and Rocket Properties.
Mornington Partners advised on the acquisition.
