Part of the TSP family for 8 years, Sarah is Associate Director and Head of Property Finance. Most importantly, she is devoted mother to Tyson the French Bulldog. We asked her some questions about day-to-day life at TSP, as well as what flexible working looks like for her.

1. Describe your typical day working in Property Finance & Management.

I’m not sure that there is a typical day in Property Management! However most days involve dealing with tenant and client queries, ensuring payments are demanded, received and made and keeping track of budgets and balances.

2. What’s the most rewarding or satisfying part of your job?

Hearing good feedback from clients or tenants. One of our main goals is to ensure that we have happy clients and happy tenants, and there’s a lot of work that goes on in the background which isn’t always obvious, so to hear that we’ve succeeded is always really rewarding!

3. Your secret to a healthy work / life balance?

Recognising that your personal time is important, and ensuring you set boundaries to make sure you’re giving yourself the time away from work that you need.

4. What does flexible working look like for you?

I currently work from the office for part of the week and from home for the rest.

This allows me to have a few days with my colleagues where we can keep the team cohesion, discuss ideas, and update each other on what we’re working on. It also gives me the flexibility of having a few days from home where I can avoid the commute and gain back some extra hours to put towards my personal life and goals.

5. Finally, your summer 2022 highlight?

Going on my first cruise!
