PRESS RELEASE
TSP deliver 20,000 sq ft of bespoke designed, tech enabled and sustainably retrofitted workspace in Old Street and Farringdon
LONDON – January 2024 – TSP, the real estate investor and asset manager, has launched two new office spaces at 60 Ironmonger and 79 Clerkenwell, catering to ‘next-stage’ businesses, looking to create an identity of their own.
60 Ironmonger is located minutes away from Old Street station and is the former UK HQ of Christian Louboutin. TSP retrofitted the 100-year-old Edwardian warehouse, with four terrace spaces, into a BREEAM Excellent, Ska GOLD and WELL Core Platinum rated 10,000 sq ft workplace, preserving existing materials in the building and enhancing it with natural-themed design, with sustainability embedded into the redevelopment of the building.
Working in partnership with interior designers, House of Grey, 60 Ironmonger features 19,000 hand-installed terracotta tiles crafted by Artisans of Devizes in Wiltshire, as well as Byron Clark’s abstract sculptural furniture made from waste plasterboard and a collaborative table by Common Design, designed to foster connections.
79 Clerkenwell is a 10,000 sq ft office refurbishment over seven floors, designed with clubhouse style amenities and located just minutes away from Farringdon station. It offers podcast and wellness studios and zoom rooms, meeting the expectations of modern occupiers and customers who are looking for hospitality-like services in their office.
Both of TSP’s newly launched, retrofitted workspaces are catering to small- to medium-sized businesses that are evolving out of start-up office spaces and looking to offer their employees a catered, fully-managed and flexible office experience, connected to London’s most sought-after neighbourhoods and transport connections. Employees will experience the best sustainable and high-quality office design, supporting their wellbeing and productivity.
Zac Goodman, CEO and founder, TSP commented:
“We have strived to create exceptional spaces for ‘next-stage’ businesses, in London’s best work, live and socialise districts. We’ve worked hard to preserve the historic elegance of the buildings, while curating a sustainably designed environment where people want to work. The space is ideal for small-to-medium businesses, offering a fully-managed experience and space that enables them to grow.”
TSP was one the first companies in the real estate sector to achieve B Corp status, with sustainability and social value key to their investment and management strategy.
TSP invests in energy inefficient, small to medium sized office buildings in London, bringing deep retrofit expertise to turn them into sustainable workplaces. In its role as a property manager, TSP manages offices in London on behalf of clients including Tailored Living Solutions and Hyundai.
Over recent years TSP has continued to grow its investment activity through its TSP Flex platform and other balance sheet investments.
TSP is backed by a growing number of family offices, institutions and investors looking for a hands-on investor with deep asset management capability. Whilst mainly acting as GP, TSP also invests as an LP providing liquidity at all levels of the capital structure.
Peldon Rose was the contractor on 60 Ironmonger and 79 Clerkenwell.
