Last Wednesday, over 700 of real estate’s finest gathered for the annual EG (Estates Gazette) Awards at the Grosvenor House hotel – to find out who will be crowned the best of the best.
First published in 1858, EG is the most established provider of data and news for the UK commercial property market.
Winning 3 trophies in 1 night – more than any other finalist – TSP was honoured to come out on top, side-by-side with our partners at Peldon Rose.
BEST WORKPLACE AWARD: 30 Lighterman, Kings Cross
Up against industry giants including 22 Bishopsgate (Convene), Cadworks (FORE Partnership) and Henrietta House (CBRE), winning Best Workplace Award was no small feat.
This category celebrates the creation of the most functional and productive workplace in the UK. In a period where our view of the workplace has shifted momentously, judges were looking for evidence of how office space has been adapted to meet the needs of a more flexible workforce.
30 Lighterman is the next generation of workspace. The 100-year-old converted warehouse boasts exceptional sustainability credentials, tech-enabled design, dynamic floorplate options, and a flexible Managed Space leasing package – catering specifically to underserved SMEs and scale-ups. It has achieved record-breaking rents in Kings Cross.
INCLUSIVE DESIGN AWARD: MS Society, Finsbury Park HQ
Together with our Design & Build partners, Peldon Rose, TSP was thrilled to win the Inclusive Design Award for our transformation of the MS Society’s HQ.
The organisation required a change in working environment to reflect their changing operational style and evolving employee needs. They also wanted best-in-class accessibility.
This meant that the building must meet a higher standard of accessibility beyond the Equality Act’s minimum level of compliance. Working with a specialist accessibility consultant, a thoroughly well-thought-out solution was achieved: widened routes for wheelchairs, few fixed assets, inclusive tea points, clear way-finding and graphics.
We provided the MS Society with a flexible working solution, creating a space which fully reflects their values of accessibility, inclusivity, and diversity.
EG TECH AWARD: 30 Lighterman, Kings Cross
To top it off, 30 Lighterman was also crowned the overall EG Tech winner – a category comprised of all 11 winners from the EG Tech Awards in July.
Such a triumphant night of success doesn’t happen by accident: it is testament to TSP disrupting the industry together with the best team and the best partners.
